I stayed in a Standard Double Room. The decor was really nice and clean, which was a lovely surprise. The view over the River Severn was stunning, especially seeing rowers and swans. The room was comfortable, with good bedding, so I slept well. The only downside was it could get a bit chilly at night, but that was manageable. a really pleasant stay after a day of exploring.

We had a great time with friends! The location near the river is perfect for exploring local attractions. We visited the historic cathedral and enjoyed the scenic walks. The staff were friendly and made our stay enjoyable, and the breakfast was top-notch. the rooms could definitely benefit from a little update, especially in the decor.
The room was really hot during our stay, which made sleeping a bit uncomfortable.

Charming Riverside Retreat
We enjoyed a peaceful stay, with an inviting terrace perfect for a sunny afternoon. The fried chicken burger was a standout, bursting with flavor. A couple of minor cleanliness oversights were quickly addressed by the attentive staff. Highly recommend for couples seeking a relaxing escape by the river.

Scenic river views and friendly service
I thoroughly enjoyed my stay with beautiful views of the River Severn, especially during breakfast in the conservatory. The staff were exceptionally friendly and always willing to help. My room was comfortable and met my needs well, but I found the breakfast choices slightly lacking in variety for my taste.

The riverside location offers a scenic view that's perfect for a drink on the terrace. The outside seating areas make it easy to relax while watching the river flow by, providing a great atmosphere.
The breakfast situation can be a real ordeal since the main restaurant gets overcrowded. Guests often find themselves shuffling through a cramped lounge area with limited options, and the layout is confusing at best. while the rooms are comfortable, some furnishings appear outdated, like the small TV in one of the more expensive rooms. Parking is a bit of a hassle too, as the limited spaces can lead to parking elsewhere and trekking back to the hotel.

Diverse breakfast options available.
We checked into a freezing room in the annex after traveling all day. The heating didn't come on until later, leaving us uncomfortable for far too long. When we finally warmed up, the room felt much smaller than expected, and the lack of a view made it even worse. the room's layout and temperature control were major letdowns during our stay.
